AnthroCircle is a registered student organization at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We aim to promote anthropology as an integrative scientific and humanistic discipline and, more generally, as an engaged, inclusive approach to critical thought and action. Our initiatives include one-time events such as public lectures, fieldtrips, and round-table discussions, as well as ongoing programs such as the Colloquium, Flint-knapping Circle, Careers in Anthropology, and the Ethnographic Film Series. Though our membership is composed mainly of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, we welcome anyone with an interest in anthropology to join and participate.
Many of our events are on hold during the pandemic.
